The benefits of Go Low...

Why go low?

It’s not just a new-years resolution anymore. Where Dry January used to be a way of detoxing after the party season and a well-meaning addition to the ‘new year new me’ mantra, embracing the low life is now an all-year, all-the time movement being adopted across the board. We’re all for it – and we love to see it. But what’s driving it? And why should you join us?

Health = wealth

Considering what we're putting into our bodies and cutting out or cutting down alcohol helps with all kinds of physical benefits – like more energy, better mood, better sleep, weight loss, clearer skin, lower blood pressure and reduced risk of lots of other health conditions.

Mindful sips

Mindfulness is another trend that’s got people committing to the low-or-no revolution. It’s all about being intentional in your choices – and this is boosting interest in alcohol moderation instead of total abstinence. A recent study showed that 82% of non-alcoholic drinkers said that they also drink alcohol too, but they’re more aware of what they’re drinking and when.

Budget bonus

If you’re drinking mindfully, then a drink is a treat. And when people are being more careful about spending too, the bonus of joining No Low means extra cash in your pocket. That, and people are being more intentional about what they’re spending on. When a single bottle of Dirty Dash makes up to 25 low-alcohol* drinks, that’s a great way to enjoy the best of both worlds.

So – are you convinced?

We’re here to make sure that choosing to go low should never be boring. We created Dirty Dash as a tonic to all that. Wherever you are, simply add a few drops to a soft drink to make a delicious low-alcohol option.

*when using our suggested serving of 4 dashes added to 150ml tonic. This creates a drink with 1.2%ABV, which is 90% less alcohol than a standard-serve 50ml G&T and only 0.2 units of alcohol. And you don't have to use 4 dashes - for example if you use 3 Dashes it's only 0.9%ABV.

A dash is one complete squeeze of the pipette!
